Victoria is my favourite monarch and this book did not disappoint

This book is huge, historically accurate and just bursting with information. Victoria is my favourite monarch and this book did not disappoint, it's like Longford walks through her life and brings the reader with her.
My favourite Queen Victoria biography I have ever read (I've read a few).

Would recommend to any history enthusiast

We are enthusiasts and reenactors interested in the "Victorian" history of Alberta and Western Canada, that is between 1880 and 1914*.

Here you will find articles of interest, photos of reenactor events, costuming tips, and discussions of interest to fans of the early days of the settlement of Alberta and Western Canada.

We will also have items of interest from the wider "Victorian" world because our history takes place in the global context of the British Empire and the Dominion of Canada.

*Queen Victoria died in 1901 so the period between 1901 and 1914 is technically Edwardian but most people during that time were still "Victorians"
